Find the next documentation gap in one minute.

Check only what is already true. The score is a planning prompt, not a coverage or claim prediction, and the answers stay in this page.

Start with one room, a wide photo, and the five highest-value or hardest-to-identify items.

Consumer guidance from the NAIC, United Policyholders, and Travelers emphasizes item lists, photos, receipts, serials, and keeping records accessible after a loss. Always follow the actual policy and insurer.

Saveable guides

Two reminders worth keeping.

Use these quick references to start a room and build the separate-backup habit.

Inside the paid vault

A portable record, not another cloud account.

The downloaded app runs as a single local HTML file and stores records in the browser profile on the device.

Item-specific evidence

Track room, category, brand, model, serial, date, quantity, condition, receipt status, notes, and one local photo per record.

Room capture map

See counts across 14 household areas so an easy room does not hide an untouched garage, attic, office, or storage area.

Evidence-gap score

A transparent 0–5 completeness score counts photo, receipt, identifying detail, date, and replacement-cost note. It does not predict reimbursement.

Private by construction

The app has no analytics, accounts, external fonts, uploads, or server calls. Its security policy blocks network connections.

Portable backups

Export a complete JSON backup, a 16-column CSV overview, or a printable summary. Import the JSON into another copy of the app.

Clear safety boundaries

No claim guarantee, policy interpretation, depreciation calculation, appraisal, or invented coverage advice. Confirm requirements with the policy and insurer.

Questions

Plain answers.

Does the app upload my inventory or photos?

No. The purchased app runs locally and its security policy blocks network connections. Data stays in that browser profile on that device unless you export it.

Will the inventory guarantee an insurance payment?

No. Documentation can make a record easier to review, but coverage, valuation, exclusions, limits, proof standards, and claim decisions depend on the actual policy, facts, and insurer.

Why export a JSON backup?

Browser storage can be cleared or lost with the device or profile. The JSON contains the full vault, including locally attached images, and can be imported into another copy. Store it securely away from the home and original device.

Can I use this after a loss?

You can use it to organize records you still have, but do not invent details or alter evidence. Follow the insurer's claim instructions and seek appropriate professional help for disputes or complex losses.

Is this for a business or landlord portfolio?

The $12 purchase covers one individual household. Contact support for organizational, landlord, inventory-service, or commercial licensing.
